A lo largo de su vida comercial se produjeron diversas versiones con cilindradas que iban desde los 74 hasta los 175 cc, aunque fueron las versiones de 74 cc las que alcanzaron mayor popularidad y difusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Concebida inicialmente para un uso mixto, a medio camino entre el Todo Terreno y el Trial, la Lobito se dirig\u00eda a un sector muy concreto del mercado, un p\u00fablico joven, principalmente de entre 16 y 18 a\u00f1os. Gracias a esta orientaci\u00f3n, permiti\u00f3 que muchos adolescentes que a\u00fan no ten\u00edan la edad legal para pilotar la Sherpa T pudieran iniciarse en el Trial y comenzar su formaci\u00f3n como futuros pilotos.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a sus caracter\u00edsticas t\u00e9cnicas, todas las versiones compart\u00edan un motor monocil\u00edndrico de dos tiempos, refrigerado por aire, bastidor de cuna simple, frenos de tambor y una suspensi\u00f3n compuesta por horquilla convencional delantera y amortiguadores telesc\u00f3picos traseros. A nivel est\u00e9tico, salvo la primera versi\u00f3n de 1966, acabada en azul y negro, el resto se identificaba f\u00e1cilmente por su caracter\u00edstico color amarillo, ya fuese en acabado integral o combinado con franjas decorativas azules o rojas.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de su orientaci\u00f3n deportiva, el car\u00e1cter polivalente de la Lobito la hac\u00eda perfectamente v\u00e1lida para el uso urbano: ligera, manejable y con un motor \u00e1gil, unida a una l\u00ednea agresiva y moderna, la convirti\u00f3 en una moto extremadamente popular entre los j\u00f3venes de la \u00e9poca. Esta combinaci\u00f3n la transform\u00f3 en una moda duradera y en uno de los grandes iconos motociclistas de la d\u00e9cada de 1970.<\/p>\n<p>No es exagerado afirmar que la Lobito fue todo un fen\u00f3meno sociol\u00f3gico y una de las motocicletas m\u00e1s carism\u00e1ticas jam\u00e1s fabricadas por Bultaco.
